Women’s circles are an opportunity to connect with like-minded women, build lasting connections, and experience the magic of sisterhood. This circle will be a sanctuary for women who are craving a safe, authentic space, free of judgement. You can be yourself, speak your truth, and feel confident and comfortable within your body.
We live in a world that has discouraged our connection to one another and ourselves. In ancient communities, this circle was used to call in the divine feminine, and as a way of grounding, centring, and receiving higher wisdom. Think of these circles as a yoga class or therapy session, but for your heart and soul; infused with exploration, transformation, and playfulness. Everything that happens in circle remains privately in the circle, which allows women to truly open up, share, and be authentic.
This is the first full moon of the year, a ‘full wolf moon’, illuminating elements of creativity and compassion. We will look at shedding any aspects of ourselves that do not serve us going forward and embracing new and all-encompassing rituals of clarity and self-care. This is your chance to meet and confront your shadows, so you can heal and move forwards.
The circle will be created with cushions, yoga mats & blankets, and a sacred altar will be placed in the middle. I invite all the women attending to bring an object of meaning with them and to set it on the alter for the durations of the session. Objects could be anything from a crystal to a favourite scrunchy. Once we all arrive and get settled, we’ll open the circle. We will call on mama nature and the divine feminine and empower ourselves with mantra and movement. A very gentle movement sequence will help us step into our bodies and get our energy flowing. From here we will dip our toes into some breath work and meditation to arrive in the space and feel connected to ourselves and the other women in the circle. We will look forward at the year ahead, journaling, setting intentions, and sharing with one another. Sharing is optional; definitely no pressure. These circles are an opportunity to give every woman a chance to be seen and heard; and have her intuition and wisdom reflected back to her.
The completion of our circle is honoured by nourishing our bodies with some delicious cacao and soft open discussion.
